Comparison of Charitable Gift as Cash versus Gifting Security

This template allows you to illustrate the savings available to the client or donor by gifting securities instead of cash. The template picks up the marginal tax rate entered at the time of installing the software or selected on the Rates.xls Data entry worksheet. If a different rate is desired just type it in or refer to the Rates.xls file for the number you need. If the ACB of the investment is not known use the ACB.xlt template to calculate the cost base.
