Record of Average Cost Per Share

This spreadsheet allows you to keep track of the client's average cost per share for all mutual fund withdrawal plans, etc. This is meant to tie in with RECORD OF INVESTMENT COST BASE form if the client has provided the information in written form this spreadsheet will do the calculations.

This is a simpler version than AVERAGE COST PER SHARE FOR TAX PURPOSES. We recommend that most advisors use the AVERAGE COST PER SHARE FOR TAX PURPOSES spreadsheet as it is a more sophisticated tracking form. It shows the total of all dispositions to be reported for the year, as well as the average cost per share for future dispositions.
